Apr. 29, 2009 (Baseball Musings delivered by Newstex ) -- Edinson Volquez found his control tonight. He had walked 20 batters in his first 20 1/3 innings, leading to a 6.20 ERA. Against the Astros tonight, however, he worked the strike zone well, walking just one in eight innings and allowing just one hit and no runs. The light hitting Adam Rosales knocked in the only two runs of the game as the Reds took the contest 2-0. Getting Volquez back on track is an important part of the rotation causing HAVOC. Felipe Paulino gets victimized by the Reds once again. He pitched six shutout innings against them on April 19th, but the Astros lost that game 4-2. After three starts he owns a 2.55 ERA, but only two losses to show for it. Newstex ID: BASE-0001-34540292 Author:Fox Sports Author's Website:http://www.foxsports.com Added: April 30, 2009
